A shrine to the Virgin of Guadalupe was set up outside a home on Bluff road. The Virgin is the Mother of all Mexicans, protectress of all the poor and a constant guardian. As each December approaches, Mexicans throughout the world pay tribute to her. The Virgin was adorned by lights and angels. Inside the two-story home Alicia Tapia Cervantez, left, 2, and Diana Tapia, 6 looked out their window. More Hispanic families are moving into Olympia and calling the area home thus changing the area's landscape.
