Kynzer Flynn, 6, plays with his toy cars at Lancaster Speedway. The six-year-old is the fourth generation to be part of the racing culture at Lancaster. "It's been generations down through and none of us made it big time," said his father. "So hopefully he'll be the one to go on someday and be running Daytona."
Lancaster Motor Speedway sits a few miles north of downtown and is one of a few dirt tracks remaining in South Carolina. The combination of grass roots with the excitement of big-time racing is an attraction that brings generation after generation back for old fashion fun each Saturday night from March through September.
